Why Did he stop laughing?

Three friends met after a long time. They bought some party stuff and then got assembled on a friends home.After enjoying the food and all they went upstairs and started enjoying the cool breeze.it was so comfortable that they all slept there. While sleeping they all suddenly woke up as they heard the sudden sound of flying off of a bird. The bird had excreted out his waste on three of them but they did not know it. Seeing that waste on other's head they all started laughing each other. But suddenly the intelligent one realized that the waste of the bird must also be on his head too.He couldn't see himself then how  did he find it out?
There were no mirrors and no cheap tricks.Pure logic.
